Chinese tourists have exploded in Puerto Galera over the last year or so. The number of Chinese restaurants has increased along with it. Today, I would like to introduce Buddy Restaurant, which is a very reasonable restaurant!
This time, I ordered two types of ramen from the extensive menu. And out came the hot ramen served in a cool glass bowl!
You can choose between “thin noodles and flat noodles” as you like. The cost is 260 pesos each.
The restaurant is run by a Filipino couple, but the couple has never had real ramen before, so they said, “This is real Chinese ramen! And would have offered to believe that …
How’s it tasting?
The taste was… a little greasy at times, but the tomato egg noodles are delicious! Maybe the noodles and the tomatoes go well together.
Maybe it’s because I’m used to Japanese ramen, or maybe it’s because Japanese ramen tastes too good, but I’m hard on myself when it comes to taste. The flavor is a little different from the real thing, but if you miss ramen in the Philippines, you should go there!
I also had fried rice!
The fried rice I ordered as an extra is a reasonable 150 pesos. At the top right of the plate is a salted, boiled egg*. Whether it was a salted egg boiled or a boiled egg salted… the saltiness seeped into it all the way to the inside.
*It is an egg food called salt egg.https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%B9%B9%E8%9B%8B
There’s air conditioning.
We have a clean shop and two air conditioners that are a testament to our success! It’s very hot in Puerto Galera. It’s better to have an air conditioner than no air conditioner.
About the location.
It is located on the main street in Sabang. It’s located at the alleyway entrance to the local restaurant “Teo’s”, next to two 7-Eleven’s, and it’s around here on GoogleMAP.See more articles in English
