Go to Sinadigan, the area next to Saban Beach with a view of the ocean! On a clear day, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Verde island in Batangas, Philippines. You can ask “Lighthouse in Sinandigan” or “Escarceo” to the locals!

How to get there

walking It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to climb up the hill to the high ground. There is a long slope from Sabang Beach, so be sure to be strong! Habar Habar (motorcycle taxi) It’s easy to go downhill on a bike! It will take you to the top for about Php 30 to Php 50.

About the shop and the restroom, etc.

Unfortunately, there are no restaurants or shops near the top. Don’t forget to bring a drink, as it can get very hot on sunny days! There is no place to use the restroom, so it is a relief to come and finish it beforehand.

Go straight down the road in front of the hotel Tropicana Castle Dive Resortn at the entrance to Saban Beach. Along the way, there are drugstores and shops selling vegetables, meat, and fish. Once we get here, there’s a straight line!

When you get to the top, the wind is very nice. On a clear day, you can see the island of Verde, the diving expedition site of Puerto Galera! You can walk to the white lighthouse at the end of the island.

The island of Verde can be seen to the northeast.

I can see the sheer blue! It is near the dive site “West Escarceo”.

If the slopes are a bit hard, I recommend taking a Habar Habar (motorbike taxi). It seems that you can go by tricycle, but you may be refused because of the steepness of the slope. It’s a recommended walk from Saban Beach because it’s just a good workout. Maybe take out burgers, sandwiches, etc. and have lunch at the top!
