A busy beach is good, but sometimes you can go for a walk to a quiet beach. It’s a leisurely 30-minute walk from Murrier Harbor to Boquete Beach.
If you ride a tricycle or motorcycle from Sabang Beach, White Beach, etc., it’s a good idea to say “Sandbar”. Sandbar is a sandy beach created by the ebb and flow of the tide.
A walk from the Port of Muelle to Boquete Beach
Photos
If you can see this view of the Port of Muelle, turn left.
Go straight down one road to the west of the island.
Go straight through the town. There are many motorcycles and tricycles on the road, so it’s best to walk on the right side of the road.
After passing Sto. Nino Elementary School, turn right when you see this view.
Then you’ll see this building across the street.
When you see this sign on your right in the direction you’re going, turn right here.
This is the view just around the corner from the sign. Go straight down this road.
I don’t see any buildings, but that’s okay. Let’s go straight ahead!
There’s a building coming into view on the right!
The hotel is called The Manor at Puerto Galera. I’ve never been inside, but it seems like a quiet hotel. It’s on high ground so the view is beautiful I think!
We’re almost to the beach, past the hotel we were at earlier. It’s very pleasant to walk down a green road!
The road splits into two, and the beach is already right in front of you when you get here. On the right hand side of the photo, you will find a beach with a hotel and a restaurant.
We’re here! This beach is both side an ocean. As well as lodging, you can do activities such as snorkeling and speedboating, and eat in restaurants. It costs Php 50 to enter Boquete Beach, but it’s better to order just one drink as it’s free when you eat or drink at the restaurant!
Next, we’ll take the road that split into two, and go to the left. There is no road, but it goes up the hill.
If you follow this concrete road…
The sea is coming into view!
It’s a very quiet inner bay with an open sea.
The time at this time was around 5:30 p.m. It’s a little while before the sunset…
You can find more beautiful sunsets at this location on this page. Why don’t you take your camera and go for a walk?
