Puerto Galera offers a wide range of coral and macro situations in the blue waters. Puerto Galera’s diving Log on Sep 2017.

Recently, we have been hearing more and more about Puerto Galera, and we have been getting more and more information about diving for the Japanese. But compared to other areas of the Philippines, such as Cebu, Bohol, Dumaguetty, Cebu, it is actually that there is still little information and minor.

If you’ve never been to Puerto Galera, you might be thinking, “What can I see when I dive in Puerto Galera? What kind of creatures are there? Can you even dive in the first place?” You may be curious and have questions about it. As the writer of this report, I had no shortage of questions and curiosities until I actually dove in Puerto Galera.

So, as a sequel to my previous report, I’ll be reporting on diving this time.

Diving style

We mainly dive by boat and return to the dive shop after each dive. It takes about 5-15 minutes from the dive shop to reach the point, although the time varies from point to point.

The “CANYONS” that represent Puerto Galera.

The brightly colored soft corals are so energetic, it’s as if you’ve arrived at the Dragon Palace. Although the current wasn’t too tight when I took this photo, there was still a flock of Yellowfin Damselfish dancing around on the bright pink soft coral.
When I got closer, I saw a group of Yellowfin Damselfish on the soft coral.
I took my eyes off the soft coral. While watching the coral ISOBANA, I saw a fish swimming towards the surface of the water. By the way, where is this fish headed?

About “KILIMA STEPS”

We also saw a lot of yellowfin at other points. KILIMA STEPS is an interesting spot with a lot of wide and macro points to see.
Small fish swarming on the coral, an underwater view of Puerto Galera that shows off its many faces. This kind of siccation is often seen, and it was very relaxing.
A clownfish was staring at us with a backdrop of sea ferns and anemones. Unfortunately, this clownfish was darker and not as pretty as it could be.
They are very wary, but this time, the timing was good and we were greeted by a parent and a child with three clownfish.
Another species of clownfish was also welcoming the divers with their families.
Sea Slugger being crossed. In addition to these nudibranchs, we also saw many other nudibranchs in the waters of Puerto Galera.
The last one is this, which is perfect for Christmas.

We were able to enjoy a variety of situations in the blue waters, from wide coral to small macro creatures, and we were able to see too many other creatures and situations to mention in this report. Especially, there were not only clownfish and nudibranchs, also pygmy seahorses , shrimps and crabs in the small creatures macro.

Why not go and see these creatures and situations in person, and at the same time enjoy Puerto Galera yourself? There may be a more varied and wonderful world ahead of us. Thank you for taking the time to read my report.
