We saw a total of five Ghost pipefish! Puerto Galera’s diving Log in Secret Reef on February, 2015

I wore a 3mm and 5mm full suit and came to dive as well as the Europeans and Americans. “Samui!” at a dive shop in the Philippines is understood. The Japanese word “Samui” means “it’s cold”.

This point is located in the inner bay on the side of Muelle Harbor and the clarity is about 10m. I love lazing around in the sandy waters of Puerto Galera’s inner bay. We saw a total of 5 black and white pipefish! Here are some of the photos I took during this fun dive.

Oooh, too bad the picture. I was also able to see the white one.

A juvenile common Egg Cowry

Underneath the mantle, there are spiny, white shells. It’s like they’re on top of a mushroom and it’s so cute!

We also saw a baby sapphire goby and more! When the clarity is not very good in Puerto Galera, macro diving is recommended.
