By local bus: Manila to Batangas

The bus to Batangas departs from JAM Transit and JAC Liner, which is located near Gil Puyat station.

If you say “Batangas Pier?” and ask a staff, he will tell you. There are many buses that stop at all companies, but it is a good idea to check the destination board on the front of the driver’s seat before boarding.

JAM Transit

JAC Liner

No matter which bus company you choose, there is not much difference in price or vehicle. There are air-conditioned and Wi-Fi buses available.
. Don’t expect too much wi-fi.
. I don’t even know what the hell an air-conditioned bus is, that cold! It is recommended to bring a jacket.

You can buy a ticket at the counter of each company, or when you get on board, the tour guide will sell you a ticket while going around the seats. It is recommended to buy in the bus because it is troublesome to buy at the counter, and if there is a bus that seems to leave at the right time, it is better to take the bus.

Both are about two hours’ drive to the Port of Batangas. However, the bus is hard to come. If you wait in the car, it doesn’t leave right away. We’re stuck in traffic. Please make sure you have plenty of time to go.

Approximate path

The Port of Batangas will be the final bus stop.Once we arrive, we’ll board the ferry to Puerto Galera!
